S’ELLE Encounter was birthed from a vision of encouraging women to walk boldly in His promises.
It’s a sacred time set apart for women of all ages and every sphere of life, an opportunity to dwell in His glory and peace.
This retreat is not merely an event; it’s an invitation to embrace personal growth and encounter the Holy Spirit. As women, we hold a unique calling in this world, distinct from men yet complementing them. Rather than striving for a better seat at the table, let’s delve into the truths of what God is saying about you as a woman. We look forward to embarking on this empowering journey together. We’re excited to welcome you to Girona and invite you to take your seat at our table.
MEET THE FOUNDERS
We’ve known each other since 2009, but S’ELLE Encounter started in 2023 with an idea.
That idea has grown into a vision that has set our hearts on fire. We believe this retreat is destined for such a time as this.
With deep gratitude to God as our steadfast cornerstone, we embark on this journey together. Our friendships and the essence of S’ELLE Encounter are rooted in Him.
In His presence, He guides us into Him, love, connection, restoration, healing, joyful encounters, and so much more. We can’t wait to share this transformational experience with you. We know that God will meet you powerfully.

Wilma Kruitbosch (38)
Family and Children’s pastor. Born and raised in the Netherlands, she has lived and worked in various countries, currently in Cancun, Mexico. Married for 20 years to her beloved husband, together they have three children (18,17,14). Her deep love for God ignites her longing to see His glory fill the earth, and she believes we are called to carry and walk in His glory daily. She also enjoys being on staff at a ministry school in Belize. She loves hosting family and friends at her home, offering a warm welcome for heartfelt connections and shared moments.
Shamira Monot (45)
Former private banker in Zurich, now a missionary. Wife to the love of her life for 24 years and mother of three gifts (19, 17, 14). She loves the presence of God. Her passion lies in nurturing healthy families, prioritizing her own, as she firmly believes that it all begins at home. Shamira’s heart brims with a desire to inspire and empower others to embrace their God-given freedom and purpose. She has a deep affection for life’s aesthetics, and admits to being a recovering perfectionist.
